There are many reasons why [IMDG’s Visa Dining Series] events draw a large crowd of foodies like myself. The series typically includes a good mix of established chefs and those who are rising stars. We try out restaurants before they become popular and impossible to secure reservations at. I believe the wine pairing element to each of these dinners is a crucial component to quality dining and one of my favourite parts about the series. Finally, the organizer works very hard to make the events run seamlessly and ensures that each guest is treated specially.

The Visa Infinite Dining Series is unique in Canada in providing inventively curated dining experiences that give diners deeper insight into the restaurants, chefs and winemakers who are at the very forefront of the culinary zeitgeist. At every event I’ve attended, diners have expressed emphatic excitement over their experiences.

I can honestly say that [IMDG events are] so well organized, and so well attended that I look forward to the opportunity to attend and work them—even though I dine out all the time!

It was a pleasure to work on the Visa event with Veuve Cliquot this past February. The event was seamlessly organized and the clientele that it brought in were enthusiastic about the restaurant and the event. It was one of the highlights of our year.

The Visa Dinner Series provides an exceptional opportunity to enjoy a variety of cuisines from some of the best chefs in the city, with wonderful and perfectly matching wines.

Since winning Top Chef Canada in 2012, I have participated in several Visa Dining Series events. It has been a pleasure to work on each and every series and I always look forward to the next opportunity. The quality and execution of each event is always top notch.

It is always a highlight of my year to cook for the Visa Dining Series program. I had the opportunity to travel to Ontario and cook at Stratus Vineyard. As always, the event was organized very professionally. I have no hesitation in doing more events in the future.

You and your staff were unfailing polite, friendly and helpful. We noted that a lot of care and attention was paid to even the smallest details. We very much enjoyed the presentations and talks put on by the chefs and wine growers/reps. Both the wine and food were outstanding from start to finish. Please be sure to thank Visa for sponsoring it. I sound like a shill when I say this, but it makes me glad that we are holders of Visa Infinite cards.

The inaugural VISA Infinite Wine Country program was a very positive experience for Southbrook. VISA Infinite’s greatest benefit was the level of marketing and exposure that the program offered. The cross-promotional opportunities offered in the event series meant that like-minded producers could get together and “wow” the consumer in an unforgettable Niagara Wine country experience whilst getting to engage new and unique visitors with our individual stories. This is a program that Southbrook will continue to pursue for years to come.
